Policies concerning Acardia websites and the information we collect
We take your right to privacy and security very seriously and have the following guidelines in to protect your personal information. These guidelines were first published in June 2007 and will most recently reviewed in December 2018. Acardia would, therefore, encourage you to review this page periodically.

In the process of doing business with Acardia, requesting a quote, or buying from any of online sites Acardia may collect information about you and your company. Acardia may use this information, or in certain circumstances share your information within the group or with trusted suppliers, in order to fulfil our obligations to you. These selected partners – our principals – share our concern to protect your privacy. However, under no other circumstances will Acardia sell your information to third parties, or divulge any information which you supply to us.
The Information Acardia collects and may store
Acardia is a business-to-business company and therefore the company primarily only requests information relating to you and your workplace or business. It may include:

The purposes to which Acardia puts your information

Email and communications
After the telephone, email is Acardia’s primary mode of communication.
We will use the information you supply to us in order to enhance the relationship between us. Unless you have requested us not to, we may periodically inform you via email about special offers, new product introductions and events concerning Oracle’s platforms and technologies. We may also communicate with you regarding end of life announcements and the expiry of warranty and service agreements. As a rule of thumb, our marketing communications will offer you the opportunity to unsubscribe from our mailing list.
To unsubscribe from Acardia’s email list, please email unsubscribe@acardia.co.uk, putting the word “unsubscribe” in the Subject Matter of your email.
E-commerce
Where available, Acardia online stores are designed to protect the privacy of information you supply including your name, address, email and phone number. We are committed to keeping this information secure by partnering with world class organisations such as WorldPay for secure transactions.
Cookies
Some of our sites may use cookies to enhance your online experience, for example, to enable logged-in customers to view restricted site areas. However, these are session cookies and are destroyed when you exit the website concerned.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

The goods available from any of our websites are not thought to be applicable to the general public. Acardia websites are not intentionally designed to attract either adults outside of the workplace, or minors.
